What this expedition is about

Experience Fuvahmulah: The Shark Capital of the Maldives

Fuvahmulah isn’t just another dive destination. It’s one of the only places in the world where you can dive with tiger sharks every single day in clear, open ocean conditions. But that’s only part of the story. This island sits completely on its own in the deep Indian Ocean, and because nothing shelters it, all kinds of pelagic life pass right by its reefs. Alongside the tiger sharks, you may encounter hammerheads, thresher sharks, oceanic manta rays, whale sharks and a wide range of other species that make this place so unique.

This expedition is designed to showcase the very best of what Fuvahmulah has to offer. We dive in small groups, work closely with an experienced local team, and follow a schedule that adapts to the conditions of the day. Every dive has a clear purpose, whether it’s time with the resident tiger sharks, an early morning drop for hammerheads, or exploring one of the deep reef walls that attract pelagic life.

Between dives there’s room to relax, review photos or simply enjoy the island’s calm rhythm. Briefings keep you fully prepared for each day, and everything is arranged so you can focus on the diving itself.

This week is meant for divers who want more than just a holiday. It’s a chance to immerse yourself in a place that feels different from any other dive destination, to learn more about the animals you’ll encounter, and to experience some of the most memorable moments you can have underwater.
